About the Seminar
In a time of digitalization, nothing is more important than protecting digital data and services – your personal data, but especially those belonging to your company.
The security in your organization exists in two domains: IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology). To ensure the protection of your networks and facilities, it is necessary to look at both domains and develop a comprehensive security concept. IEC 62443 is a standard specifically developed for OT security and complements ISO 27001, which primarily covers specific measures for IT security. IEC 62443 describes measures to reduce security risks for manufacturers, system integrators, and end users.
Translating security requirements into solutions involves many important design choices. These choices are not easy because each solution has limitations (challenges and weaknesses). This seminar provides guidance on how to handle this.
Content:
- Cybersecurity legislation and (national) standards
- The role of IEC 62443
- The structure of IEC 62443 (including zones and conduits)
- IEC 62443 in the implementation phase (including fundamental requirements)
- IEC 62443 in the maintenance phase (Device & Update Management)
- Practical demonstrations of access control, security profiles, and Device & Update Management throughout the day
For whom?
An interesting day for anyone seeking thorough information about IEC 62443, especially end users, machine builders, and system integrators.
